Track Name: Old Moon Bay
Old Moon Bay
(D. Danoff) Urbivor Records (ASCAP)

well i’m a ghost doing time
so I don’t sign on the dotted line
i don’t waste my time chasing papers and drinking wine

i hold on to the simple things, ‘cause I ain’t finished yet
and let go of all the lonely things that always make me forget

that you and me were meant to be like an island under the sun
and not the way we’re forced to pay for freedom with a gun

so look out everybody the funeral’s passing by
the saints who march in the afternoon will signal your last try

i wish we had another chance to pay the piper with romance
please send him my kind regards at the friday evening dance

don’t be afraid of the bed you made sleep now my precious child
i’ll walk you there in the midnight air and you won’t forget to smile

so take me out to the old moon bay and tell me every little thing about you
i’m not afraid to watch you fall
this old clown parade is just the magic in the moment when I hold you up into the light
so take me out and away

i’m a phoenix on the rise I don’t catch it on the first try
i don’t spend my time stitching suits and knotting ties
I hold on to the memories of all the people I’ve met
and let go of all the angry things that my eyes can’t forget

cause you and me were meant to be like the sun sets in the sky
and not the way we throw it all away by the end of our first try

so look out everybody the wind is howling loud
it’s burning in your eardrums and it’s story is not proud

so wipe your eyes and face the rain you’re a soldier in this war
you can hide for a little while but they’ll be rapping at your door

don’t be afraid of the bed you made sleep now my precious child
i’ll walk you there in the midnight air and you won’t forget to smile

so take me out to the old moon bay and tell me every little thing about you
i’m not afraid to watch you fall
this old clown parade is just the magic in the moment when I hold you up into the light
so take me out and away, away
Track Name: Go Lightly Hollywood
Goodbye L.A. it's been nice up to now,
This poetry has no place on the streets of your town.
I met a girl today she was young and she was proud,
On the streets making ways amongst the singers and the crowds,

So go lightly Hollywood, go lightly,
Please find a way to take care of my friends,
Where fortune and fame don't wait for the good,
Whose lights shine so brightly, go lightly Hollywood.

They used to carry bells and flowers in their hair,
But how the times have changed mostly who and not where
The sirens call of fame draws them out from the crowds
The simple and the strange to this California house

So go lightly Hollywood, go lightly,
Please find a way to take care of my friends,
Where fortune and fame don't wait for the good,
Whose lights shine so brightly, go lightly Hollywood

It's been a lifetime it seems since I've walked these old streets,
The song seems the same but there are secrets in these beats,
The captains of industry who flock to these lights,
And cry "Hallelujah!" to the Hollywood night,
All fall to the sea

Go lightly Hollywood, go lightly
Please find a way to take care of my friends,
Where fortune and fame don't wait for the good,
Whose lights shine so brightly, go lightly Hollywood

Track Name: Friend of Mine
You were a friend of mine, that was a long time ago
But I remember those times.

You held me up to the light, and kept me up all night
With all the stories you lied,

Don’t let me go, don’t let me go, Don’t let me go.

You, used to tell me that, we were one of a kind,
We were in love all the time.

And I never thought it was bad, Well I was younger then,
I didn’t know I was sad,

You let me know, then you let me go, don’t let me go,
I should’ve known, should’ve known your heart’s made of stone,

When time was a friend of mine, it was a long time ago
it’s not fair if you don’t mind.

Well we were the best of friends, that was all just a game,
just a game of pretend

You let me go, don’t let me go, don’t let me go

Don’t let me go, don’t let me go

Don’t let me go, don’t let me go, don’t let me go

Don’t’ let me go, don’t let me go

Don’t let me go…

Track Name: Suicide Rag
SUICIDE RAG

You say you want me there but I know you don’t mean it,
How can things be clear when you’re the only one who sees it.

I know this to be true, There’s more to me than just what I do,
But don’t you forget what I’m doing out here,

You say it’s my fault but I’m the one who lives with this fear,
I tried to make that call but I just couldn’t hear,

Your voice in my head, I remember what you said
It’s the poetry in my bag for this suicide rag. The poetry in my bag for this suicide rag.

The night I was born, the moon burned a fire red.
You held me so close I always knew you’d get tired.

That night turned to day, I had to do it my own way,
So I left and I ain’t turning back.

I’m going to sail, there’s no regrets in my heart,
If I should lose my trail, I’ll take it way back to the start.

It’s a simple hand to play, to be a family for a day.
It’s the poetry in my bag for this suicide rag.
It’s a simple hand to play, We have to do it our own way,
It’s the poetry in my bag for this suicide rag. The poetry in my bag for this suicide rag.

Track Name: Paper Tigers
In the shadow of the morning,
I was waiting for the moon to rise again.

In this feeling of a dawning,
we were standing at the edge of our surprise.

I’ve been waiting for the moment,
for the moment I could waste all my time.

With this burning I feel for you, I’d trade it all away for just one more night.

your hands
for my eyes
your lips

Could’ve been, could’ve been yours.
Could’ve been, could’ve been yours.
Could’ve been.

In the shadow of the evening,
I was waiting for the sun to rise again.

I heard a voice softly calling,
calling out the words that we were not alone.

I’ve been dreaming of this moment,
on this morning I can see it on the rise,

With this feeling I feel for you,
Hold me close, I’d give it all for one last try.

your hands
for my eyes
your lips

Could’ve been, could’ve been yours.
Could’ve been, could’ve been yours.
Could’ve been. Could’ve been. Oh, I could’ve been. Could’ve been.

All we ever say, is holding on to walls of broken grace

I lose some illusions in every way,
You turn paper tigers to blood every day.
You turn paper tigers.
You turn paper tigers.
You turn paper tigers.

Track Name: The Ghost & The Scratch
In the town where I was born,
the old men sit watching,
All The boys return from war
who carried the water,

And the ground is fresh and young,
And the ground is fresh and young.

The flowers have yet to rise above,
the sons who set like falling stars,
that water our years.

And all the fireflies, that pass us by on the water.

Will shine a light so bright, the darkest night will fade.

Of all the endless streams, that filled our dreams,
with waters that passed.

We wash away the ghost and the scratch.

Hold. Hold. Hold me again,
I’m not that afraid,
I might have just made a mistake,

Hold. Hold. Hold me again,
The water is colder,
The water is colder, again.

In the town where I was born,
the old men grow silent,
Like a field that turns to stones,
like oceans of water,

When the ground was fresh and young,
When the ground was fresh and young.

The flowers still growing on the lawns,
that house the broken hearted boys who never grew old,

And all the fireflies, that pass us by on the water.
Will shine a light so bright, the darkest night will fade,

Of all the endless streams, that filled our dreams,
with waters that passed,

We wash away the ghost and the scratch.

Hold. Hold. Hold me again,
I’m not that afraid. I might have just made a mistake,

Hold. Hold. Hold me again,
The water is colder,
The water is colder, again.

Track Name: Diamond Shores
Lost on your shores,
Is where I’ve always been, where I’ve always waited for you,

In Your arms,
Is where I’ve always been, I’ve always been right there,

Gathering stones on your beaches,
chased by these earthly creatures,
fighting for a piece of your diamond shores.

And the moment that I reach it,
and finally come to lie beneath it,
only to be fooled I could be yours,

I could be yours.

All night long,
Is where we always are, where we always sing this song,

When old men cry,
to the dark open skies, that fill up your eyes, I see,

A thousand minds couldn’t teach it,
no holy man could ever preach it,
or stand forever on your diamond shores,

And the moment that I reach it,
and finally come to lie beneath it,
only to be fooled I could be yours,

I could be yours.

Track Name: Vagrant Wolfe
Soap-box patriots, lazy whores with baggy tits, have you read the news outside?

Megaphones, microphones, radio’s, and TV, boy I wish I hadn’t been alive,

Suicide, homicide, what’s the difference take a ride, in the devil’s Cadillac,

Nice cars, candy bars, plastic surgery lose your scars, oh how lovely you are,

Sleepwalk, chalk talk, meet the neighbors on your block, and their friendly shotguns,

Pull the trigger you’re a winner, join the army get some dinner now we’re having
some fun

No escape, it’s too late, “feeling great? not today!” to the park to smoke some grass,

Boardwalk, coffee talk, keep your eyes out for the shark, if you want to last,

Mary had a little lamb, but Mary didn’t have a plan, of how to make it in our Time,

Sheepskin got to win can you spare me but a fin, or how ‘bout just the time?

Twentieth-century homicide, Twenty-first century suicide…

Poverty honestly, what’s our public policy, people asleep on the street,

Concrete, candy’s sweet, mother says it rots your teeth, politics on my mind,

Madness, gladness, in the sun with sadness, oh so glad to be alive,

These colonies bother me, so how ‘bout just a cup of tea, and maybe we’ll pass the Time?

Twentieth century homicide, Twenty-first century suicide…

My doctor says that I am sick, need to take some medicine to get my life into line,

But all I see our skeletons, so I say to hell with him, and think my thoughts in rhyme,

Sand-box razor blades, modern-day factory slaves, all of the masters agree,

I didn’t mean to lift the wool, of all the lies they teach in school, but this is the way it’s ‘gotta be,

Twentieth century homicide, Twenty-first century suicide…
Track Name: Happy Days
Oh, Happy Days are gone,
Happy days are gone,
Happy Days are gone.

Oh, Happy Days are gone,
Happy Days are gone,
Happy Days are gone.

You tried to fly away,
oh those funny ways,
we'd laugh and we'd cry,

But all love has to go
like all rivers flow,
back to the sky.

And oh, to our surprise,
like fire and ice,

it all melts away,
it all melts away,

like all Happy Days,
like all Happy Days.

Oh, Happy Days are gone,
Happy days are gone,
Happy Days are gone,
are gone, are gone...

Track Name: Raised In The Dark
Who knows the reason,
why two hearts break,

The wishful thinking,
that children make,

That night you turned the rain into gold.

The more I see her,
the more I disappear,

She closed that window,
so I wouldn't hear,

The old world oaths.

My friends I'd rather die,
than live amongst the living in disguise.

Well who throws the stone,
and breaks the glass,

This house of heart break,
won't burn that fast,

That night she turned my heart into dust.

The more I need her,
the more she disappears,

I closed that window,
so I wouldn't hear,

The old world oaths.

My friends I cannot lie,
We love amongst the living in disguise.

The picture books,
and all those fancy crooks,

Can't take away the meaning of my love,
my love,
my love.

Track Name: Back To You
Once I was a man, and would travel across these barren lands,
In a coach and open carriage, to places I’d never seen,

As we all wait to get back to you,
We all wait to get back to you,

If I weren’t a believer, in all I’ve come to share,
Then life would just be a phantom that tries to cover up all of your fears,

We all, wait to get back to you,
We all, wait to get back to you,

I, once was an angel,
And once, once was a sinner,
Sent here, oh, sent to protect you,
But waiting, waiting for your forgiveness,

As we all wait to get back to you,
We all wait to get back to you,

Once I was a boy, and would travel across these ancient lands,
With a coat and two steel pistols, to places I’d never seen,

As we all wait to get back to you,
We all wait to get back to you,
